At the conference, Professor Anu Sivunen will host and contribute to a symposium: “Rethinking Isolation: Exploring its Multi-Dimensional Impacts on Workers and Organizations”. The symposium focuses on the complex nature of work isolation in remote and hybrid work, and how organizations can strategically design remote and hybrid work to balance autonomy, connection and knowledge sharing. Together with her co-authors Julia Eisenberg, Jennifer Gibbs and Elisa Mattarelli, Sivunen will present their paper, “Isolation in Remote and Hybrid Work: A Conceptual Review,” at the symposium.

Sivunen will also be a speaker in one of the PDW:s, discussing the topic: “Co-Pilot” in Interpersonal Interactions: AI Mediated Communication in Contemporary Organizations.
